Matthew McGowan
Financial Planning Associate

Matthew joined Stepp & Rothwell after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning from Missouri State University. While at Missouri State, he served as captain of the ice hockey team and president of the players’ board, demonstrating leadership both on and off the ice. He also completed two internships focused on financial planning and wealth management, which provided a strong foundation in comprehensive financial planning.

Matthew is passionate about helping others achieve their financial goals. As an associate, he works closely with the financial planning team to prepare and analyze detailed reports and projections, helping ensure each client receives the highest quality service.
